The Chelsea Depot gained a little help from its friends on New Year's Eve. More than 100 community members from Chelsea, Ann Arbor and the surrounding area gathered to toast the New Year and eat a scrumptious Yellow Door breakfast. The morning glow was generated from the good company that came together for yummy food and to raise money to help refurbish the "must go" flooring at The Chelsea Depot.
The breakfast after-glow was the $2,500 raised at the breakfast, prepared and cooked by Judy Radant of Ellie's Chelsea. Steve Radant and son were also on hand to keep the dishes flowing into the lovely sitting area of the depot. There were many helping hands that aided in prep work, serving, beverages, decorations and welcoming guests. Thank you to all who provided assistance!
We also thank the breakfast sponsors, Chelsea State Bank and The Common Grill, for their generous support in underwriting the cost of breakfast!
As I hung up my apron on my way out the depot door, I overhead the possibility of a Yellow Door Valentine Breakfast. Now, wouldn't that be sweet?
